Cruz Azul vs. San Luis: Semifinals plus Suspensions

So here comes a major opportunity for the boys in blue to win the championship though they are surely not the number one contenders for winning the tournament. Cruz Azul has faced San Luis ten times and only two times have the maquina ever come out ahead. During the regular season, Cruz Azul beat San Luis four-nil but I doubt its going to be that easy in this phase of the liguilla.
San Luis is a difficult team specially with the offensive power that they have with the Argentinian Moreno and the intelligent tactics of Raul Arias. I expect an even series with a slight upper hand for Cruz Azul because they have the home advantage.
Fortunately, after Saturdays little scuffle with Jaguares only two players from the squad got suspended. Huiqui and Riveros will both miss a game but the rest of the team will face no penalties or sanctions for what occurred at the Stadio Azul.
